Out of the box this keycap set should support 60%, 65%, 75%, 80% and 100% layouts. The inclusion of the 7u space bar and stepped caps lock also allows for a nice alternate "tsangan" 60% layout if the keyboard's PCB supports it.
The keycap set does not come with split space bars nor an extra B key so it can't be used on an Alice layout. Nor does it have a R2 Control key and R3 Backspace or usable replacements that allows the set to be used in a 60% HHKB layout. And while it includes an ISO enter key, I feel there aren't enough support keys to really build out a proper ISO layout. For my use on a 75% ANSI keyboard, this set does definitely suffice.
The set is not Mac-friendly in that there are Win keys and not generic "Code", "Super", novelty keys nor Mac-specific Command and Option keys. As a Mac user, the inclusion of more generic modifiers or extra Mac-specific keys would be much, much appreciated! As it is, I can live with a Win key in place of the Cmd key only for so long before it starts to really annoy me!
I used calipers to measure the thickness of the sides of random keycaps from each row. There is only some minor inconsistency between keycaps with the thickness measuring between 1.54mm to 1.59mm. The space bar sides measure between 1.55mm and 1.63mm thick. These are impressively thick keycaps. They sit on my switches very solidly and have a very light surface texture to them.
The legends on the keycaps are very clear and crisp from my sitting position though up close the print is not super crisp, but that's not noticeable in practice. I really like shade of blue paired with black keycaps. This combination can match well with a number of different keyboard colors. The 6.25u space bar is blue while the 7u space bar is black. I would have preferred a choice of black or blue for both space bars. Similarly, the arrow keys are black but I feel the addition of blue arrow keys would have provided a nice accent in that area as well. As for the enter key, there is only a blue one and no black one, which I would have like to see included as well.
I mounted the keycaps onto lubed Gateron Baby Raccoon linear switches in my Keychron Q1 Pro keyboard. This combination on a brass plate sounds really great to my ears, a loud sound that is more clacky than thoccy, which I find pleasant and is common with PBT keycaps on my board. No complaints here.
Overall this is a very nice keycap set. I would rate this 5 stars if it included generic OS modifier keys but I can't fault the quality of its construction. The fact that it includes a nice keycap remover instead of the horrible little plastic rings is a bonus.
