Gateron G Pro 3.0 Switches

Switches arrived fast and are super smooth making my new build a 30 minute endeavor instead of spending 3-4 hours disassembling and lubing each individual piece.

I bought these to switch out the clicky switches that came with the 8bitdo retro keyboard. These feel slightly more tactile than cherry browns but they sound great in the 8bitdo body. They have a nice thunk sound without mods. They also come pre-lubed which saves me time. I will definitely look forward to adding more mods to improve the sound.

Awesome switches! 5-pin makes it sturdier when typing. The brown color sounds very satisfying making me love typing even more. I cant wait to try other colors as well.

Very nice switches. The quality is up to standard. I got the red and 105 switches one. So, if any issue with any switch, I can easily swap them out. I also love how smooth the switches look and feel. The sound is not super loud or too quiet. The noise is just about right for the red color.

Build my first keyboard and wanted switches that came lubed since I'm new and really didn't want to go through the hassle of lubing it all. I've like Gateron switches that came in other keyboards I've used so I thought I'd give it a shot. All the other competitors out there were charging nearly double. For me building a 96% keeb, I didn't want to spend $100 on switches if these were going to be a good fit.

The only thing I can say is that these switches are really good. I was someone that liked browns and even blues on some boards because of the feedback mechanism of knowing when the switch is engaging. But these Linear Reds, even without the tactile feedback, are really starting to grow on me and I now know why people like them.

As a gamer, the near-instantaneous activation is really nice. I play games from Baldur's Gate 3 to Remnant 2 and even Destiny 2 when I'm bored. All keyboard inputs feel great.

If you're on the fence on what switches to get for your keyboard, give these a try. I only recommend the pre-lubed versions.
