Image and GIF requirement

  • V1.0 screen:
    • Resolution: 160*128
    • Size: Up to 15M
  • V2.0 screen:
    • Resolution: 320*240
    • Size: Up to 15M

Steps for Uploading Images or GIFs to the Screen

  1. Remove the Screen from the Keyboard: Detach the screen from the keyboard to prepare it for connection.
  2. Connect the Screen to Your Device: Plug the screen into your device using the provided cable. Wait until the screen lights up and the tool indicates that it is connected.
  3. Clear Factory Images (Optional): If you want to remove pre-installed images, click the "Reset" button to erase all factory defaults.
  4. Upload Your Media:
  5. Click on the “Open File” button.
  6. Select your desired image or GIF from your device’s folder. The selected file will preview in the blank display area on the screen tool.
  7. Transfer the File: Click “Send File” and wait for the progress bar to complete. Do not disconnect the screen during this process.
  8. Test the Display: Use the options like “Picture or Time” or “Display Exchange” (available for v1.0 screens) to view how the media appears on the screen.
  9. Reconnect to the Keyboard: Once the upload is successful, unplug the cable and reattach the screen to the keyboard.

Crashing or Freezing Screen

Some customers may encounter issues like crashes or freezes after uploading oversized images or GIFs, similar to the example shown on the left. 

If this happens, you can follow the steps demonstrated in the video below. 

Use a metal item to directly touch the contactor, then connect the cable. If a metal item is unavailable, you can use a screen pin or a keycap puller (refer to the video for detailed instructions on how to use them). 

This method aims to short the screen circuit, resetting it effectively.
